Book Review: Heir of Fire

"...her dearest friends are characters in books."

An action packed book about discovering and becoming the best version of yourself along with making new friends along the way.

SYNOPSIS
Celaena has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak-but at an unspeakable cost. Now, she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth . . . a truth about her heritage that could change her life-and her future-forever. Meanwhile, brutal and monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. Will Celaena find the strength to not only fight her inner demons, but to take on the evil that is about to be unleashed?

REVIEW

This book is mostly about Celaena's transformation in Aelin. She conquers her inner demons and emerges stronger than ever. Her entire journey is extremely gripping.

Other than that her budding relationship with Rowan was extremely fun to watch. Their banters and fights were hilarious and adorable.

Similar to Crown of Midnight, this book was more of a buildup and an introduction for a few major characters.

My Rating: 3.8/5

Author: Sarah J. Maas

Followed By: Queen of Shadows
